Debbie Jane:

“Rend your heart
and not your garments.

Return to the Lord your God
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity.”
Joel 2:13 NIV

Hännah:

I’ve spent most of the week being stretched outside of my comfort zone and being challenged, but the Lord has been gracious and provided strength and faith for everything. I can surrender my treasures to His hands when He asks for them, because I know that even though I might not get them back, I will be given something far greater by my good Father.

Kaitlin:

This week I received the wonderful news that I have been accepted to attend Moody this fall. I praise God for His continued leading and guidance in my life, and I’m so thankful for the peace He’s given me as I wait for all the little details to be ironed out now.

Kate:

My sin, oh the bliss of this glorious thought
My sin, not in part, but the whole
Is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more
Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord oh my soul!

It Is Well With My Soul, Horatio Spafford

Katie Marie:

[Please keep Katie Marie in your prayers--she has been very busy lately. Also pray for her as she prepares for graduation and as she seeks wisdom for what God has for her after high school.]

Kelsey:

This week God had to remind me of the extent of his sovereignty. I was faced with the disappointment of something not working out the way I wanted it to. At the same time my professor in Bible has been talking about God’s sovereignty and how if he wanted things to be different he would have made them that way. When I finally put the two together it was a great comfort to know that “whate’re my God ordains is right”

Riëtte:

God has been faithful, He will be again
His loving compassion, it knows no end
***
All I have need of His hand will provide
He’s always been faithful to me.

He’s Always Been Faithful, Sara Groves
