Truth Fest
Debbie Jane:
This week God’s grace has been overflowing in my weakness.
“For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.”
(1 Cor. 1:25 NIV)
Hännah:
“Oh bless the Lord my soul!
His praise to thee proclaim!
And all that is within me join,
To bless His holy name!
Oh bless the Lord my soul!
His mercies bear in mind!
Forget not all His benefits,
The Lord, to thee, is kind.”“Bless the Lord,” Godspell
Kaitlin:
“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”
1 Timothy 6:12, ESV
Kate:
This week, these words have been made very real to me…Lord, thank you for such truth!
Before the throne of God above
I have a strong and perfect plea
A great High Priest whose name is Love
Who ever lives and pleads for meMy name is graven on His hands
My name is written on His heart
I know that while in heaven He stands
No tongue can bid me thence departBefore the Throne
Katie Marie:
[Please continue to keep Katie Marie in your prayers–she has been very busy lately. Also pray for her as she prepares for graduation and as she seeks wisdom for what God has for her after high school.]
Kelsey:
The Lord has shown his grace this week by teaching me to be content. When I stopped complaining he opened my eyes to see how he had blessed me and granted me more than I could have asked for.
Riëtte:
Thank You for the trials
For the fire, for the pain
Thank You for the strength
Knowing You have ordained
Every dayYour great power is shown when I’m weak
You help me to see
Your love in this place
Perfect peace is filling my mind
And drawing my heart
To praise You againEvery Day, Come Weary Saints
Stephanie:
“The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food at the proper time. You open Your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.”
Psalm 145:15-16 NIV
I’m learning to look to God for the provisions I need, rather than try to pry them out of His hand. He freely gives at the proper time, my job is to trust and expect and receive.

Thanks all of you for sharing!
Kate, I love that hymn! I especially love Selah’s version of it.
God bless.
I think that the truthfests are my favorite part of this blog! I am so encouraged every week when I read over everyone’s truthfests.
I love you girls!!!
Yep, Riette, I have a blog! I started it last year before I went to England, and then I decided to keep it up. I’ve actually been thinking lately about how I so often write just about myself, and so visiting here has encouraged me to see how I can use the blog more for Christ’s purposes, and not just to make it about me… So, thanks!
Hey, are you guys going to New Attitude?
