When I Am Weak
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)
I know many of us (readers and bloggers alike) are dealing with finals right now, and it’s a unique time to practice trusting God! Those of us who are either finished with finals, or are in a different season of life also have a constant battle to fight in order to deal with our weakness.
May this verse and video encourage you. The other day my dad gave me the link to the following, and after watching it I was given such a picture of my relationship to God. He gives victory…but I didn’t contribute a thing. What a blessing it is to know that even in the moments when we feel adequate, He is still the one who carries us.

At first, I wasn’t sure what to think beyond, “Oh, that’s nice.” Then I read what you had written. “…a picture of my relationship to God.” Suddenly I was crying. What a beautiful reminder that without Him, we can do nothing.
The encapsulation of my life. God really does it all, and I’m foolish to try to get up and run on my own. Kate, I can’t tell you how much I needed to see this today.

I love that verse, it’s such a comfort to me, I’m small, I’m weak, I get sick easily… were it not for God I wouldn’t even have a single breath in the first place.
And the video… what an amazing picture of God’s love for us.

Yes, I’m going to NA (in 3 days!) and I’m from Sov. Grace Church in Apex, NC. I’m hoping to get to see Riette and Josh and Amy and anyone else from KingsWay that is coming to NA, so hopefully I can see you too! It would be lovely to meet you.
