Truth Fest
Debbie:
This week God has blessed me through trials- fun, challenging, and sometimes hair-pulling. He is constantly showing me that my world, which seems so huge and complicated to me, is safely in the palm of His hand.
Hännah:
No distrust made [Abraham] waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” But the words “it was counted to him” were not written for his sake alone, but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.
- Rom. 4:20-25, ESV
Kaitlin:
Over the last week, one of the missionaries my church supports came to visit and talk about his missions work. I was encouraged and challenged by all the work that he does for unreached people groups, but it was the kindness and compassion of his for the lost of the world that stood out to me the most. Praise God for willing and servant hearts!
Kate:
Holy God in love became
Perfect man to bear my blame
On the cross He took my sin
By His death I live again
(The Gospel Song, Drew Jones & Bob Kauflin)
Katie Marie:
This week God has been teaching my heart to delight ever more in Himself! I am amazed at His work in my life, His ever drawing of my heart to His, and His ever present calling to holiness.
Kelsey:
“Blessed be the Lord, I am no stranger to Him. I have tried Him, proved Him, and known Him, and therefore do I trust Him. I know His name as a sin-hating God, for by His Spirit’s convincing power I have been taught that He will never wink at evil. But I also know Him as the sin-pardoning God in Christ Jesus, for He has forgiven me all trespasses. His name is faithfulness, and I know it, for He has never forsaken me though my troubles have multiplied upon me.” -C.H. Spurgeon
Riette:
“For you make him the source of blessing forever; you make him glad with the joy of Your presense”
Psalm 21:6
Stephanie: [please keep Stephanie and her family in your prayers as they are moving this weekend.]
