Ladies and Gentlemen, we direct your attention for the next few days (now until the 27th, specifically) to the New Attitude conference, hosted by Sovereign Grace Ministries, held in Louisville, KY. This years’ conference will be on the topic of the Bible and its reading and application. 

“Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart.” Jeremiah 15:16

We’ll be hearing from speakers such as John Piper, CJ Mahaney, Mark Dever, Al Mohler, Josh Harris and Eric Simmons. Even if you only recognize a couple of these names, I’m sure you can appreciate what an exciting opportunity it is to hear from each of these godly men.

But, “I won’t be attending“, you say?  

Well, as fantastic a conference it is to attend in person, New Attitude is once again liveblogging the conference this year. This means that all you readers at home will have regularly updated access to the spiritual truths being taught by the aforementioned gentlemen as it happens! 

Please take advantage of this fantastic resource. I actually attended the conference last year, but from those I talked with at home, the liveblog was an excellent resource (sometimes when my parents would call, they remembered more of the details from the messages than I had!).

As an aside, Riëtte, Stephanie, Hännah, and I would ask for your prayers as we each wake up a wee bit earlier than usual tomorrow (5am anyone?) and roadtrip to Kentucky for the conference. New Attitude can be both physically (well, if you allow too much fellowship to encroach on that little detail of sleep!) and mentally exhausting, so we could all use your prayers for strength and focus as we seek to learn and apply humble orthodoxy.
